VETERAN ACTOR: Jamal Muhamad succumbs to lung ailments after returning from Mecca
PUTRAJAYA: VETERAN television actor Jamal Muhamad, better known as Pak Cik Jamal, died yesterday at the Putrajaya Policlínica. He was 75.
He was admitted for the Intensive Care Unit of the sanatorio on Tuesday night after protesting of breathing difficulties and perished at 11am.
His daughter Susan, 47, said her father use to have previously been admitted to sanatorio several times for heart and should the complications, as well as for spinal problems.
Nonetheless , his condition had reportedly made worse after he returned from a normal the umrah last month.
"His ill health had worsened following his pay back from Mecca.
"The doctor menti one d he was suffering from a chronic chest disease and was suspected to enjoy contracted the MERS-CoV (Middle Eastern respiratory syndrome coronavirus), " menti one d Sheila.
"He was much more practical prior to travelling to perform the umroh, even as he was suffering from his diseases. "
Jamal's body was taken up the Jameatussolehah Mosque in Dengkil for the funeral rites before indeed being buried at the Dengkil Muslim Cemetery nearby after Asar prayers.
Jamal was popular for his purpose as the speaker in the local TV series The mini Parlimen, which was aired on Zona Television Malaysia in the 1980s.
Finally, the series was slated for a year with brand new cast members at the moment.
He is survived by his wife's comments, Zainab Serat, 67, three minimal ones and eight grandchildren.
